Activity Groups

Sensory Groups

Children work in groups to develop their sensory integration needs.  Parents may be interested in their children taking part in these groups if they experience one or more of the following:

  • Fussy eating
  • Fine motor skills difficulties
  • Difficulty touching different textures
  • Enjoy messy play
  • Dislike messy play

 

Communication and Social Skills Groups

Children work in groups to develop their social communication and interaction skills.  Parents may be interested in their children taking part in these groups if their child is already undertaking therapy to support this area or to engage in extracurricular support:

  • Difficulty making friends
  • Difficulty taking on the role of follower during play
  • Difficulty taking on the role of leader during play
  • Difficulty engaging in a range of play skills
  • Difficulty with shared enjoyment
  • Difficulty with social communication
  • Difficulty with social interactions

Our Communication Groups target children 5 years and under.

Our Social Skills Groups target older children.

 

Parent Coffee Mornings (Free)

Our coffee mornings are a way to encourage the wonderful parents we work with, and prospective parents, to get together and receive some respite.  We will be changing the location of each coffee morning to keep it interesting. We look forward to seeing you there.
