Autism Clinic

Our autism clinic provides services for your child’s assessment and therapy, when autism is suspected.

Consultation

During your consultation you are able to receive advice in regards to whether your child will need a diagnosis.

3DI or ADI – Structured Parent Interview:

This will be completed by our Consultant Paediatrician.  Bringing your child to the interview is optional.  During the interview, expect to give your child’s full developmental history.   Post assessment, you will receive a report with the necessary recommendations for your child.  Further, you may be advised to complete further assessments if the Paediatrician or Consultant recommends.

ADOS-2  – Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule:

This will be administered by a qualified ADOS-2 assessor. The ADOS-2 is a standardised behaviour assessment.
